Do you want a list of resources on a particular topic? So you can order a Literature Search Service.
A literature search is a list of found information resources on a given topic (list of literature on a topic). A literature search from scientific databases and library catalogs is processed. It is a selective literature review and the list is in the form of a bibliography.
The Medical Library has a special collection of rare books and journals that students can access for research purposes. We can offer these rare books and magazines to you for your research (through an in-house loan).

Libraries can borrow materials from other libraries for students who need access to specific resources. You need a book and the book is not in the Medical Library fund? We can request to borrow from another library.

For printing, making copies, or scanning - you can use your ISIC card. The charging machine is located in the Department of Theoretical Studies in Šimkova, opposite the stairs, next to copiers. The charging machine only accepts banknotes.
The Medical Library, in cooperation with Charles University, provides access to online educational materials for familiarization with databases, citation software, writing medical theses, avoiding plagiarism, and prevention of predator journals. Our library organizes a workshop for better use of our resources and databases - the best way to get to know the library on the first attempt - on request.
