How can you be a user of the Medical Library? First, you get a university card (ISIC) and you have to fill out an electronic application to use the services of Charles University libraries. After this, you can then use the Medical Library with all the services offered: borrowing books, access to e-resources, interlibrary loan, group study room reservations.

In your first year of study, a deposit of 10.000 CZK is required for borrowing books from the Medical Library. We will return this amount to you after returning all borrowed documents. You will not pay this deposit anymore. If you choose to borrow books and pay a deposit, you have to pay it at the cash desk (Czech word: POKLADNA) in the Theoretical Department Building, Šimkova, 1st floor.
